Anthony S. Fauci

Director, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Chief, NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci é diretor do National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) do US National Institutes of Health, onde supervisiona um amplo portfolio de pesquisas dedicadas a prevenir, diagnosticar e tratar doenças infecciosas e imunomediadas.

Dr. Fauci é membro da National Academy of Sciences e recebeu inúmeros prêmios por suas conquistas científicas e em saúde global, incluindo a National Medal of Science, a Robert Koch Medal, o Mary Woodard Lasker Award for Public Service, e a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Em 2010, tornou-se editor adjunto do New England Journal of Medicine e Senior Physician no Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
